Burcombe Manor at night

Burcombe Manor is set in the village of Burcombe in the Nadder Valley, four miles west of Salisbury.

The Manor is a family home set at the base of a 1300 acre working farm, with arable, sheep and pigs. It forms part of the Earl of Pembroke’s estate in the south of Wiltshire and overlooks the water meadows.

The present day house was built in 1865 and is set on the site of "The Grange" which dated back to the 1500's.

On entering the house, there is a large oak floored hall and a staircase, with dark oak banisters which lead up to our accommodation, three centrally heated bedrooms, two of which have ensuite facilities.

Guests have their own comfortable sitting room in which they can relax and plan their day.

Wedding at Burcombe Manor

The house is set in its own three acre garden, totally surrounded by a tall yew hedge, giving complete privacy.

Well manicured lawns provide an excellent setting for a marquee to host weddings & other functions and parties.

There is an extensive network of Footpaths and Bridleways for both walkers and horseriders to explore.

Local attractions include Wilton House - the home of the Earl of Pembroke, Wilton Carpet Factory with its shopping village, the Regimental Badges carved in the chalk hills at Fovant, Stonehenge, Salisbury with its Cathedral, Museum & shopping.

Bath, Winchester, The New Forest and Isle of Wight are located within an hour's drive.

"This was a truly beautiful place, very welcoming and the building/grounds were amazing! I would definitely go back if I ever wanted to go to Salisbury again. Brilliant alternative to mainstream chains!!"
